About Me
So, my name is Michael! I'm born and raised in Belgium, and currently still live there.
My heart has always been a traveler and I try to hop in my car or onto a plane to a next adventure any chance I get.
I'm most passionate about the U.S. and working actively on trying to see the entire country. I also try to keep up the hopes of maybe one day settling down there.
My next trip abroad is going to be to the U.S. again, doing a car-lover's road trip through the Midwest!
I'm also toying with the idea of doing the John Muir Trail, but I'm going to need some more mental preparedness if I want to take it on solo.
Personally, although I have a very corporate job and love it, there's much more to me than that. I am always looking to help friend or stranger! Even though currently I can't host (see below), should you be interested in visiting the Antwerp/Belgium area, don't hesitate to shoot me a message!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Unfortunately, as I still live with my parents (don't judge, I prefer spending my money on traveling over rent), I am unable to host at this time. Maybe this will change in the near future, who knows :)
I created my account like 3 years ago but never really did anything with it.
Next spring, however, I'm taking on my first solo-trip (except for a couple days in New York but that's hardly comparable) in the States, and well, I'm trying my luck on here for a change!
