Overview
About Me
I recently quit my job to go on a 6 month trip I've always wanted to take before starting grad school (international MBA) in the summer of 2020. I have traveled all over the world and lived in China for 2 years as a volunteer English teacher through the Peace Corps.
People have said I'm humorous. People are also notorious liars.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I love seeing and exploring places from the local perspective. Those that know the place always have the best recommendations of what to see, do, and eat. I also thoroughly enjoy hosting and being one of those people to give recommendations or show what my city has to offer.

What I Can Share with Hosts
Decent conversation over a beer, coffee, or tea, some okay cooking skills/willingness to help out in the kitchen. I was also a volunteer magician at a children's hospital for 2 years so plenty of magic tricks that you'll pretend you weren't impressed by but, deep down inside, were slightly in to. Lastly, an ability to make it seem like I'm not even there or was ever even at your place if a guest in your home isn't what you're feeling that night! I also write and have shared poems in public settings if you're into that sort of thing.
