I'm travelling to search for truth to raise my awareness and enhance my perception of life to become a more effective therapist and better serve life around me.
After 18 years working in the hotels and private member clubs I left my role last December to travel and pursue in earnest my healing therapy practices. I am grateful though as the vocation provided me with transferable life skills in leadership, organisation, communication and adaptability.
Alongside hospitality, for the past 4 years I've immersed myself in holistic therapies, studying, training and practicing as a hypnotherapist and Ayurvedic yoga masseuse, so as to be of greater benefit to help those that become part of my life and life in general.
Myself and a group of friends established and now operate a Holistic Healing Centre in Glastonbury, on the Tor which is where I can be found if not travelling.
My brother and I have also created an eco-friendly picture framing business, to allow for his talent for art to find expression. I still have all my fingers left as evidence of my 'mad tight' woodworking skills and hold some knowledge of carpentry.
I very much champion the rights of animals and the benefits of following a plant-based lifestyle.
Amongst other things...I like full moons, laughing, crystals and pushing the boundaries of my comfort zone.

What I Can Share with Hosts

As a manager in the hospitality industry at high-end establishments for 18 years I have a wealth of stories and skills in team leading and working within a team, effective communication, enhancing guest experience and service, working under pressure, promoting sales and adaptability. It also enabled me to develop a strong work ethic along with excellent time management and organisational skills.
Establishing both an eco-friendly picture framing business with my brother and the Holistic Healing Centre with my close friends I have learnt a wealth of skills, knowledge and experience in; starting a business, carpentry, manufacturing products, tea-making, purchasing, how to remove splinters, researching, ordering stock, how to catch spiders, advertising, marketing, general maintenance, painting, keeping a smile on your face, sustainable practices and dealing with stakeholders....amongst a plethora of other useful jobs!
Through my work as a hypnotherapist, certified crystal healer, sound activator and Ayurvedic yoga masseuse I have knowledge and experience in various therapies, energy, the healing benefits of sound and how to remove blockages and dis-ease within people. Plus, I know how to massage, who on Earth doesn't appreciate a good massage?!!
As an advocate of a vegan-lifestyle I have knowledge in this area and have held workshops to demonstrate the importance of good food choices in an attempt to help people lead a healthier, happier and more balanced life and help reduce the risk of creating blockages and dis-ease within the system that may lead to injury and sickness.
I love animals and have worked in a dog shelter in Barbados and have enjoy being around creatures of all variety.
I also hold a First Class Honours Degree in Hospitality and Business Management and NVQ's in Business Administration & Team Leading.
