About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To find awesome out going people to show me around their city and help me out with a place to sleep. But most importantly share some great experiences and hopefully a lot of laughs!

ABOUT ME

I'm 21 year old bloke from Melbourne Australia who is currently travelling around the United States. I love my travel, sport, friends, family, beers and having a great time and a laugh. Back home I've been working my butt off to have the experience of a life time through the states and I'm looking forward to meeting new people and making new friends to share it with.

MY PHILOSOPHY

"A day without laughter is a day wasted " - Charlie Chaplin
I think this is how I love my life trying to make people laugh wether it be to cheer them up, liven up a room or just to make sure that no day is wasted as laughter is the best ,edifice you can give anyone and it's also free

Here's my Aussie really coming out but my motto would have to be "she'll be right". In Australia we say this a lot and I don't think anyone knows what it actually means but I like to think that a positive outlook on life will assure that everything will fall into place if you truly believe it will.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I had a friend who couch surfed throughout the states and said he met some of the coolest people who were so generous in their hospitality, as well as showed him the local secrets of each city, so hopefully I can get as lucky as he did!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Walking the Kokoda track in Papua Mew Guinea in 2011 was the most challenging, rewarding and most incredible thing I have ever done. The toughness of the track, emotional ups and downs and the people I shared it with sticks with me everyday and has helped develop into the person I am today. The tough terrain and unpredictable conditions that these heroic soilsers fought on at the same age I was at the time (16) makes me appreciate everything so much more and want to travel and experience the world for that opportunity was given to me from the sacrifice of others.

Teach, Learn, Share

"A journey is best measured in friends, not miles" - Tim Cahill

It's not about the distance I travel to each place, but the people I meet and the experiences I share with those along the way, as life is about journey as the destination is never ending.

What I Can Share with Hosts

A big Australian smile and lots of laughter
