I believe there are positives to be had out of everything, even mistakes! I love to meet new people, listening to stories and experiences.

Warum ich bei Couchsurfing bin

I have different reasons for being on Couchsurfing. Sometimes I make no concrete plans and follow my host and sometimes I do make plans and mainly would like a place to stay but with someone who may want to share my experiences or if not someone to talk to and have a drink with.

Interessen

I’m very passionate about scuba diving. The underwater world is so mind blowing, it can be being transported to an almost alien world or stepping into a time warp. I love the history that can be read from visiting a wreck preserved in time and the stunning creatures that live in our oceans!

I find war history fascinating, so i’m a huge fan of big museums and of destinations with a rich history. It can rather bleak at times but is always interesting.

Eine tolle Erfahrung, die ich gemacht habe

Looking up into the sky with absolutely no ambient light and seeing constellations and stars battling for space in the night sky - Brecon Beacons, Wales

The sculptured city of Petra, I was in absolute awe of the monumental task that must have been undertaken to carve an entire city out of the natural features/mountains.

Seeing the Space Shuttle Endeavour rocket to space. It was a tiny light blasting across the sky, a bright star carrying humans, stunning!
