I'm a teacher, currently based in Kuala Lumpur, where I have been living for the past few years. I teach history at an international school here, and I'd like to think I'm more like Jack Black in "School of Rock" than someone out of Harry Potter - though I can certainly dress the part when needed.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm here for two main reasons - to show people around Kuala Lumpur, and hopefully, to meet locals when traveling in order to better experience those places.

In some cases, I'm also interested in staying with others, especially when traveling to new and unfamiliar places.
