Overview
About Me
I'm a recent grad with my master's degree in architecture. I'm from Indiana, USA. We call ourselves Hoosiers but no one really knows why. I'm a big foodie at heart, I drink too much wine (also too much coffee), and I'm secretly a nerd.
I'm also a connoisseur of dad jokes and like to tell stories where I completely forget the reason why I started talking.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I recently finished grad school, but before I begin my career as an architect, I want to get some more travel under my belt. I've been to South America twice in the past few years, and I visited Spain and Portugal last summer. Now I'm ready to get back to Europe to meet friends old and new, see amazing architecture, and find unexpected adventures.

Music, Movies, and Books
- I could discuss the finer points of Wes Anderson cinematography if that's your thing. Or defend my (apparently controversial) belief that Life Aquatic is his masterpiece.
- I also especially admire Kubrick, Scorsese, Tarantino, and the Cohen Brothers films.
- I never grow tired of classic horror / scifi movies.
- I'm a little too knowledgable about Star Wars.
- I can't get enough of 80's film and music.
- I play a few instruments, and all of them pretty poorly.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I built a house once. A real one that people live in. And it hasn't fallen down yet!
What I Can Share with Hosts
I've experienced my fair share of food, drink, and cultures around north and south America and parts of Europe. But I'm eager to discover much much much more.
I'm the type who loves to learn from others, and share stories of my own.
If you have a strange architectural question, I have an answer.
I used to work at a nature center and know way too much about birds and wildlife and what plants will kill you if you eat them.
I'm the friend who other friends always ask to solve their technology problems.
