In 2018, I spent 5 months backpacking around South America and now I’m back for more!

My hobbies include language learning, Salsa/Bachata dancing, hiking, and landscape photography!

I LOVE to connect with local people and talk about travelling, culture, and really anything else! I also like to travel on a budget and Couchsurfing is a great way to save money and form lifelong friendships! I am also more than happy to help any potential hosts practice their English during my stay!

I love to listen to rock (alternative, classic, hard, indie), Latin (Bachata, Salsa, Reggaeton, Kizomba, Merengue), Brazilian pop music, Bossa Nova, electronic, hip hop/rap, funk, jazz, big band swing, classical piano, and most other genres!

Some of my favorite movies include The Bourne Trilogy, Grand Budapest Hotel, Limitless, Forrest Gump, Shrek, Sherlock, and The Imitation Game!

Some of my favorite books are Zen and the Art of Motorcycle Maintenance, Into the Wild, On the Road and I also enjoyed Soldados de salamina (Soldiers of Salamina) in Spanish and O alquimista (The Alquimist) in Brazilian Portuguese!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I once lived in a van for 5 months and visited 25 national parks in the US! I love to explore!
