Overview
About Me
** In the neighborhood that I live in, most people work daily in Manhattan and the train is very easy and safe but it does cost about $20 round trip **
CURRENT MISSION
Enjoy life. See the world. Provide for my kids.
ABOUT ME
I am an American and EU citizen who has lived in New York most of my life. I am a single parents of 2 teenagers.
We have traveled quite a bit, (both kids are internationally competitive athletes) and without the couches of others, much of it would not have been possible.
PHILOSOPHY
As Einstein said;
If people are good only because they fear punishment, and hope for reward, then we are a sorry lot indeed.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
Most of our participation in the surfing world has been on the hosting side.
I was very selective over the people who stayed with us while the kids were younger. However, as part of the international judo community, we have had many people stay with us over the year. At one point, we had a team of 12 from Poland sleeping on every flat service available.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I surfed around Europe in the early 90s before it had a name and have just recently joined the 'formal' CS world. And, we have host many people from places other than this site.
Interests
Judo
Saltwater fish and coral
Exploring new places
Meeting cool people
Eating good food
