I was born and raised in Chattanooga Tennesssee. I served in the U.S. Navy for 9 years. I'm currently working for Shaw Industries as a Electrical Maintrnance Technician in South Pittsburgh Tennessee. I enjoy getting out and exploring the great outdoors. I love the Appalachian Mountains and the rolling hills of East Tennessee. I thru-hiked the Appalachian Trail in 2007. It took me six months to complete.....best 6 months of my life.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I really enjoyed meeting and hanging out with fellow thru-hikers and like minded individuals in the trail town hostels and shelters all along the 2174 mile Appalachian Trail. Couch surfing would give me a chance to pay it forward to all the great folks from Georgia to Maine that took me in, shared what they had, gave me a good place to sleep, shower, and rest while I was fulfilling my lifetime dream.
