I'm a curious and conscientious traveller, seeking new experiences and opening my mind to new ideas. I am passionate, reflective and philosophical, but enjoy a good party if there's real music and well made beverage involved. I love exploring nature and getting to the heart of a place by covering it on foot and having impromptu conversations with people that are like nobody I've ever met. I adapt quickly and easily, and have lived in many places and many environments. We should each be able to learn something from one another, and hopefully become good friends.

Interests

My primary passions are music, literature, wine, hiking and sustainable agriculture. I like music to be original and experimental and make me think. I like literature to open my eyes to new ideas, and to help with my own existence and writing life. I like wine to be high agriculture - a sensual expression of geology, climate, culture and history. I like hiking to take me places far from human footfall and bring me face to face with truth. I like agriculture, as with any land use, to nurture land so that man and nature can bring the best out of each other. I also like to laugh at things that are weird and make things that are fun and/or tasty.

I recently took a 130km solo trek through British Columbia's Sunshine Coast over 8 days, didn't see a single human soul on the trail for more than five days, but came across a few bears. The privilege of enjoying that clarity of pure experience left me awestruck.
