So far my favorite thing about life has been the opportunities I've had to get outside of the places and situations that I'm comfortable in. I grew up in Utah, a place that is completely full of incredible natural beauty, and incredible people. However I've found that most people come from very similar backgrounds there. I travel so that I can experience people's lives that are different from my own.

I love to learn and am an avid reader of everything from epic fantasy to astrophysics. I especially love to read books about people, specifically about how people act, react, communicate, and learn; especially books relating to why we do the things we do.

Before I found out about Couchsurfing i just slept in my car when I traveled. If much rather do this because this seems like a much better way to meet new people and learn more about the places I travel to.
