Overview
About Me
I'm an outdoors enthusiast, in particular hiking and camping, I was living in Spain from July 2015 to July 2017 where I learned to speak Spanish (I'd more consider myself conversational than fluent). I enjoy Martial Arts too, I've been training in Judo in Spain and was training in Kickboxing before that in Ireland, as well as a small bit of Karate.
Generally very happy to meet new people and hang out in general, love showing people around Drogheda and telling them a little bit about the history.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I'm on couchsurfing to meet new people and hopefully make a few friends who speak a few different languages to try and set up a language exchange group in Drogheda, some new hiking buddies would be pretty good too and I'm always happy to hear peoples stories.

Music, Movies, and Books
My favourite book is Brave New World by Huxley however my favourite author is J.R.R. Tolkien, specifically The Hobbit but I've also read The Lord of the Rings, The Silmarillion and several of the lesser known works.
For music I like a bit of everything but from quite early on I've been a big Billy Joel fan.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Well living in a foreign country for 2 years as my first time away from home where I had to learn the language was interesting, I'm also doing a solo charity hike from Malin Head to Mizen Head to raise money for SOSAD (anti suicide) but that's currently on pause due to having to come home for exams for a potential job.
What I Can Share with Hosts
Stories, being a hiking buddy, cooking, cleaning up really well after myself and just being an all around good guest, a grand chat too of course.
