I'm Michael, I'm currently studying to be a teacher, and working in a local charity shop. I have many hobbies - some listed below, and have just entered a marathon this year so will be doing a lot of training for that! I enjoy spending time with friends and family and hope to travel more and meet some new people on the way!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

To travel is the short and obvious answer - just to experience life as it's too short to waste, meet as many people as I can, see as much of the world as possible, and share experiences, stories, and hear others tell their stories. I also want to travel so I can work on my photography, so you'd be helping me out a great deal! :)

Lots of films too: Stanley Kubrick's films, Goodfellas, Tree of Life, The Godfather, Fight Club, probably too many to mention here!

Any book that will make me think a lot. Some fiction.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I spent 18 months volunteering as a mentor in a Primary school helping pupils with reading skills.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can cook, and enjoy cooking for others when I can. I'm no Masterchef, but aslong as it's edible! I can play guitar and bass guitar and haven't jammed in a long time!
