About Me
Hi! Im Michael from Switzerland and Im currently touring the Middle East a bit :) Im super excited to be able to travel Iraq now and hope to meet some new people. Im really interested in culture, art (especially calligraphy & graphic design), interior design, architecture, and just meeting new people and gaining new experiences.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I love to travel but the nicest part about it is if youre able to connect a face to your time at your destination. Meeting someone new - through just hanging out or staying at their place - is always an interesting experience for me. You get to know so many different people which come from a completely different part of the world and often lived such different lives.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I could spend the 2019 Chinese New Years with a host family in South China. In the summer of 2017 I decided to volunteer as an English teacher in the middle of no where in Anhui Province, China. Later that summer I had the unique experience of going to North Korea and get a look into one of the strangest places on Earth.
What I Can Share with Hosts
Spending an evening together (if you have time) with just talking, going out or cooking together always seems like a good idea for me.
