Michael Korchagin is a 23-years Ukrainian who was born in Weimar (Germany) but grew up in Donetsk, Ukraine. After finishing the school with a silver medal, Michael joined Foundation Programme at the Bellerbys College in Brighton, UK where he was awarded as The Best Student in English. In 2009 Michael entered the International Hospitality Management programme at the University of Surrey, UK. During the studies he became a Chairman of Hospitality Entrepreneurs Society and was invited by James Caan team to join the StartUp Loans as a Student Ambassador. During the placement year as a Front Office Agent in a 5* Donbass Palace Hotel (Donetsk, Ukraine) Michael was announced as a Recruit of the Year. In a Final Year at the Uni he had a part-time job with Radisson Blu Edwardian and became a social entrepreneur by launching Ukrainian non-profit organization “Creative People Group” that specializes in providing opportunities for talented students. Moreover, he became a co-founder and a songwriter for a Song Set Group society that works with current Ukrainian X-Factor finalists. In 2013 Michael graduated with honours and came back to Donbass Palace Hotel to work as a PR coordinator. In Feb 2014 he quit the job in order to start the new CPG Projects – Tandem Events, Ozon online Youth Magazine, and New Poets Club. Michael moved out of Donetsk to Dnepropetrovsk because of the war, and in Jan 2015 together with colleagues designed FESS (Fulfilment & Employability Support Service), brand new programme for students in Surrey, UCL, Southampton, and Kiev to understand better what it means to be an entrepreneur.
