Hi,
I am a 29 year old Italian guy living in Austria. I grew up in a small town in the Dolomites (Italian alps), near the border to Austria and moved to Feldkirch, Austria, for work. While I am not Austrian, I live in Austria since a long time, speak German fluently, and know the culture and area well.

At the moment, I work as a software engineer at my own company I created. It develops a mobile app for work purposes. However, I have actually studied Energy Engineering and am very interested in energy production and topics about energy in general.

I have travelled the world a bit before, while at, and after uni, and have also lived in Australia and Scotland (UK) for a while. My most recent trip was in Morocco for surfing, a new sport I discovered last year!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am Couchsurfing because I love to meet new people and want to experience cities from another perspective. I also want to host, because I want to give back to the community and allow others to have the same experience.

I can teach you some Italian, German or Ladin. As a host I will for sure be able to tell you about the area and the peculiarities of this border area between Austria, Switzerland, Germany and Liechtenstein.

I can share a laugh and some good chats. I can tell you about my cultural background and its peculiarities (I speak Ladin, a language only spoken by 30,000 people in the world).
