My name is Michael and I‘m 29 years old. I grew up in the heart of the Alps in Austria, in a very small village surrounded by mountains. Because of growing up in this circumstances I have always been deeply connected to nature and spend as much time as possible outdoors. I do a lot of sports including climbing, hiking, skiing , skitouring, biking, trailrunning - just a lot of mountaineering in general.

Besides the fact that I‘m probably one of the most music addicted people you will ever meet I also have big interests in photography, arts and sports. I studied architecture in Austria and the USA. Recently I also started to study social education which i really enjoy.

When I travel I love to just grab my backpack and go for it - I love to live the simple life and I don’t need a lot to be happy. I always try to be positive, appreciate life as much as possible and because I‘m very curious I‘m down for basically everything this world has to offer.

Music, Movies, and Books

-In love with music in general but if I‘d have to choose a favorite band it would be Pink Floyd.
Why? Because they made thoughtful varied music in contrast to what most bands create nowadays - a monotonous earwig that goes on forever!
A more present day band would be Alt-J.

-I‘m playing guitar since many many years and also some piano. Always down for a jam!

-When it comes to movies I‘d rather like to name genres instead of particular films : thriller, sci-fi, crime. I like movies that blow your mind like shutter island, memento, interstellar..... not a big movie person though...

-Books: The Alchemist from Paolo Coelho still inspires me although I read it ages ago. Lately I‘m reading a lot from Paolo Cognetti and his stories about the mountains & the simple life.
