I am very openminded and have a lot of travel experience. I'm going to travel Senegal by land and would love to get to know as much locals as possible along the way.
My biggest Hobbies are Basketball and architecture and photography. I finished my sociology last Sommer, with special focus on urban sociology. Then I will return, I'm planning on studying architecture. I'm really interested in sustainable and social architecture and want to explore how architecture changes along the way and is influenced by the urban life, culture and climate.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I really interested in different cultures and getting to know new people. That's the reason I really like to travel.
Then I'm traveling I like to go to places of the beaten Path and try to get in contact with local people, to get a feel for the daily life in the city and find some hidden spots rather then just sightseeing the places and visit famous landmarks. I like to explore new places, in order to paint myself a picture of different cities and cultures. Thats the reason I travelled by land with just my backpack from Germany to Tajikistan and back from Iran to Germany, after finishing school.
Last Sommer I finished my sociology bachelor, so it's time for my next big travel adventure.
For the next couple of months I plan on traveling to Dakar, Senegal by Landroute. On the way I want to travel to a lot cities, find new friends and improve my French and Arabic skills, while learning as much possible about the cultures I'm visiting through conversations, food, art and architecture.

Music, Movies, and Books

My favorite novels are the alchemist and1984 by George Orwell, but at the moment I'm mostly reading non-fiction books, about topics I'm really interested in like architecture, Sociology, art, Cities and different cultures.
My favorite movies are Boyhood, City of God, and Trainspotting.
I don't really have a favorite Song or Musician. I listen to pretty much every genre there is, but mostly rap.
