Overview
About Me
I have been a digital nomad for 2 years now, spending a lot of time in Medellin, Puerto Vallarta, Puerto Rico, New York, LA, and Kentucky. I love to travel, especially to places where I can practice my intermediate Spanish. I work in public media as a lawyer and business development executive and am a huge advocate for responsible journalism. Mezcal and gin are my favorite cocktail ingredients and I mix a mean drink. I dedicate a lot of free time to community development and health in Sub-Saharan Africa and Nepal and to spiritual and creative practices. I believe deeply in kindness and respect, and I try to live my life accordingly. I also love to have fun!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I travel solo a lot and I hear this is a great way to meet fun folks to hang out with and learn about their home cities.

Music, Movies, and Books
I love acoustic, folk, Broadway, classical, jazz, and rock. I love a good movie but haven’t seen a great one lately. I listen to so much audio (news and podcasts) that I’ve fallen behind on movies, but I’m always looking for a good, suspenseful mystery or thriller (but not horror, really), or a touching comedy or drama.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Rolled my car and survived, thanks to the Jaws of Life and Life Flight helicopters.
