About Me

I'm an artist, going my own way, questioning what it means to be a human on Earth. After doing the college thing and working in the corporate world for a while I realized that wasn't the path for me. Now I'm working on my own creative projects and trying to find my answers to all those deep questions that burden us as humans.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I like meeting people and I like travelling but I don't feel motivated by money so I often don't have much of it. The human connection is so much more important than anything else we do here (in this Universe).

Music, Movies, and Books

Music: The Deer (from Austin Texas), also electronic music of all sorts, especially ambient and dance music
Movies: Interesting science fiction like Arrival, or more pop science fiction like the Marvel comic movies, independent movies that are doing something new and interesting, kung fu movies. That's really just the first things that come to mind.
Books: Science Fiction (Stephenson, Gaiman, Scalzi, Stross, Heinlein, Niven). I finally read the Harry Potter books. Pretty good stuff.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Saved my friends life when she got alcohol poisoning.

Teach, Learn, Share

Yes to all three? :)

I can teach photography principles and software.
I'd love to learn a language and more math.
I'm happy to share anything I'm not using.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I've been on three continents and most of the American states. I've run a homebrew dungeons and dragons campaign from inception to completion. I spent 14 years working on an undergraduate degree and watched college culture transform from the late 90's to what it is today.

Countries I’ve Visited

Argentina, Canada, Mexico, Netherlands, Peru, Russian Federation, Venezuela

Countries I’ve Lived In

United States
