Overview
About Me
*Above all, I value common courtesy and communication. The Couchsurfing community has been generally fantastic with these two traits, but always keep this in mind. Respect gets respect. It doesn't matter what race, religion, nationality, sexuality, gender or sex you are; If you're fascinating, we're friends.
My friends would say I am a free spirit, optimistic and nothing rattles me. In the words of one friend, I'm "horizontal." Really, I am up for any adventure at any time.
My motto is "chase memories, not money."
If there is something I want to do or experience or somewhere I want to go, I'll find a way to make it happen. Traveling is one of the most rewarding things you can do, and there's a case to be made that people who spend their money on travel and experiences rather than things are more happy.
I love me some avocado, and watching thunderstorms/lightning is always a great time.
10/10 - I'm back in California, and I live with my parents, one (large) dog and one young cat.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
As a traveler myself, I understand the feeling of gratitude that comes when a friendly stranger opens their doors for you and gives you shelter for the night. Since others have done it for me, I wish to pay it forward.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
There's lots of amazing things I've done, just in the past two years, but most notably I accomplished my dream of moving to England, something I wanted to do since I was a kid.
Moving to France, however, was never something I had a desire to do, yet here I am.
- a 2,400 mile road trip through 8 countries in Europe in 8 days, and we did it in a Mercedes Benz B class.
- a 721-mile road trip on a motorcycle over 5 days through southwest England and Wales, and that includes hiking in Welsh National Parks and Couchsurfing there. It was the stupidest thing I've ever done, but also one of my most favorite memories.
- a road trip to Inverness in Scotland, one which included Loch Ness and the Highlands.
Teach, Learn, Share
I can teach you a little bit about California and the massive drought it's going through. Spanish is also my second language, so I can teach some basics.
