I am currently working as a freelance filmmaker, doing whatever film gigs I can do wherever in California. Last year in 2015 I graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Television, Film and Media Studies from California State University, Los Angeles. After school, I moved back to my hometown of Fresno, CA while at the same time looking for a permanent work position down in LA. I'm trying to break into the TV/Film industry, and I am very excited for that.
I have heard of breaking into this industry is difficult, but in all honestly, I enter it with a sense of optimism and not let that discourage. I'm in the process of building up my credibility with my filmmaking skills, being that in saying as well in building up my filmmaker resume. I am also considering going back to school for a Master's degree, not 100% sure, perhaps in Film Directing or Screenwriting. I know USC and UCLA are good contenders, so I am considering those schools.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I am here on couchsurfing, because, I have the travel bug itch, and I feel that using this website would be great, it'll be cool to meet lots of interesting people this way. Throughout my college years I've had roommates from various different countries, from South Korea, Antigua, Australia, China, and Brazil. Having roommates from different countries I would say is an enriching cultural experience, and I want to continue to enriching myself with much more.
Interests
If I would name one right of the bat, it would most definitely be filmmaking. More into detail about that would be in screenwriting, film editing, cinematography, acting, and film directing. Aside from working in film, I also much very enjoy camping.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Two years ago I went camping in Joshua Tree, and it was unlike any camping experience that I have ever done. To put it more in perspective, my usual camping experiences before hand would be on a camping ground with showers, bathrooms with plumbing, a small store at the camping entrance for camping needs, running water and electricity! It's from a camping chain called KOA campgrounds. I know, some of you may think that that may not really be camping, but those were comfortable experiences. Joshua Tree was unlike any camping experience I have ever done, no electricity, no running water, I should say it was more like "Hardcore Camping" than the "Luxury Camping" from KOA campgrounds.
