Hey Guys! Im Michael, I'm currently working as an apprentice in Joinery (high end fixed fitted furniture) and studied building design so hit me up if you need house design stuff:). Born in South Africa and grew up in Sydney Australia I like to say I have an appreciation for life and how lucky I am to be able to afford to travel! I like to keep fit and eat well. I try to spend most of my time outdoors, lucky I live near Sydney's favourite beaches:)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Im on Couchsurfing because I believe life is a constant adventure. Meeting new people is something that I love doing and couch surfing is a great way to meet new people.

Interests

I love sports and anything adventurous. Snowboarding and Long boarding are a favourite of mine. Listening to music, reading autobiographies and sleeping. I love food and wine especially if it involves a burger.

Music, Movies, and Books

I like to listen to pretty much anything, i do enjoy alternative music. My favourite bands at the moment is the Paper kites and M83.

Adventure and action movies I enjoy but a good horror or thriller is the best.

I can't say I am an avid reader but i do enjoy reading autobiographies.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Okay so my worst fear is sharks. I can't explain how scared I am of them or even the thought of swimming in murky water. I was in Cape Town South Africa where some of the biggest great whites sharks are located, I decided to go shark cage diving to confront my fear. It was the most incredible thing I've ever done!
