About Me
Just graduated! Before I have to become an adult, open a Roth IRA, and get a subscription to The Economist I wanted to explore the world and meet some cool people while I'm at it.
I love learning from other people, and could listen to someone talk forever. Everyone has a story to tell and I always appreciate new perspectives on life.
That being said, I am the world's top expert on myself and have a few things of my own to share.
My ideal night in a town would be learning about its history and culture, exploring its landmarks and museums, live music, good food, chilling in a bar and talking to locals, or even just listening to some tunes at a host's place while we get to know each other. Not much for clubbing UNLESS were talking about a multi-story dance club that plays different music on every floor and has places to talk. Those are the best places in the universe. Examples here: http://www.yelp.com/biz/bootie-sf-san-francisco and here: https://www.facebook.com/salarazzmatazz/. Though I can be convinced to do just about anything and will have a great time doing it as long as the company is good!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I love meeting new people and seeing through their world. I can and do shoot the shit about anything though.
As far as myself as a surfer, I'd love to spend time with hosts and get to know them, but wouldn't be offended if they can't or don't want to.
Interests
Music is a really big part of my life right now! I'm always looking for people to jam with and learn from. I've been told my voice sounds like a combination of Fergie and Jesus.
Right now I'm listening to a lot of Courtney Barnett, Kendrick, Real Estate, Chance the Rapper, Parquet Courts, Modest Mouse, Wilco, The Strokes, Alt-J, Tame Impala, Andrew Bird, Vulfpeck, Unknown Mortal Orchestra, and Cake which seems like a lot when I list it out
My all-time favorite artists are The Shins, Alkaline Trio, Joey Cape, and The Beatles
VERY VERY open to new music though, and one of my favorite ways to listen is with Planet Earth on in the background.
I'm really into nature as well and love to blow trees.
