Overview
About Me
I come from a small city in Western New York called Rochester where I study International Politics and French. I have decided to take a semester off in order to do a small tour around Western Europe with the intentions of exposing myself to new cultures, food, and most importantly for me, language. I believe that every human needs to take advantage of travel since we only have one world and there is only so much time to explore.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I have been traveling mainly through hostels or Airbnb, which is great, but I feel the need to explore all sorts of traveling. That is why I am trying CouchSurfing for the first time on this trip, I would love to host fellow travelers once I return to the U.S!
Interests
I spend a lot of my time (when I’m home) skateboarding or snowboarding. I have always loved snow sports, ever since the age of 2 which was when my parents forced me on the hill, so I’m alright at skiing, but snowboarding is what I prefer.
I have been getting more and more info coffee culture while I travel. Luckily I found an incredible job at a coffee shop as a barista so I have a strange amount of knowledge when it comes to coffee which is something I love sharing with other people, as long as they allow me to.
Reading is also a large interest of mine, especially while traveling alone.
And above all of these is exploring. Traveling to new places always gives me a sense of happiness, and inspiration to open my mind to new experiences and cultures. I love being able to exchange experiences with other travelers and creating new friends along the road.

Music, Movies, and Books
I love mainly hip hop and alternative music, but am open to any sort of music.
When it comes to books it’s hard to not say Harry Potter, although the Hobbit is of course up there as well.
Although I am late to the game, lately I have been indulging in Quintin Tarantino films, so as of now Pulp Fiction is my top film.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I went sledding down a volcano in Nicaragua
Went climbing for the first time in Granada Spain with my Workaway host
Had Turkish coffee in Mostar (or Bosnian coffee depending on who asks ;))
Went on a motorcycle trip in South East Canada with my dad
