Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Like most people on couchsurfering, I love to travel. However, being an American, with less vacation time than most other industrialized countries in the world, I have to choose my trips carefully. I find though that hosting surfers is a good way to get a travel fix when my next trip is a few months away!

And that’s what couchsurfering means to me: it’s a unique opportunity to expose myself to some very interesting and adventurous people from around the globe and to make connects, both fleeting and lasting!

Interests

I guess traveling is obvious... I also love to hike and trail run, give me any excuse to visit a National Park! Snowboarding is also something I enjoy (immensely). I'm also huge on going to see live music, I usually average 1-2 shows a month. I read often and try to keep up on current events. I'm also a fledgling craft beer snob. And oh, don't get my started on coffee!
