Overview
About Me
I recently finished my engineering degree. After 5 years of school and work... I just needed a break. What's a better way to spend it than backpacking SE Asia?
I would say I'm pretty easy going and laid back. I make an effort to try new things and be open minded. I'm also pretty spontaneous... in my group of friends, I'm usually the one that's scheming up new adventures.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I think its the people you meet and friends you make along the way which makes traveling memorable. If you are lucky they are a local and they'll make your experience richer. I'm on CS cause I think it is a great and convenient way to meet these people.
Interests
I have a keen interest in science and technology as with art and history.
I love my food. I enjoy going out to eat. I think it's a great way to socialize and experience different cultures. Beer! I love it so much I've made my own.
My idea of fun is to go on a hardcore multi-day hike in the backcountry with my closest friends. Having some drinks by the fire instead is just fine too.

Music, Movies, and Books
I listen to all types of music, but often to rap, R&B, EDM, and county.
If I could only pick a few movies they would be Forrest Gump, Dark Knight, and Good Fellas.
I usually read non-fiction, but I don't mind the occasional fiction. My most recent readings were the Game of Thrones and The Buru Quartet series, as well as Failure is Not an Option.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Trekked Crown Mountain via Hanes Valley. Imagine hiking 20 km through harsh terrain. Exhausted. Now you gotta climb a mountain that's 1.5 km high and at the top you have to keep your vertigo in check cause one false move... you are a goner. In the end it was worth it the view was amazing.
Teach, Learn, Share
I can teach you a whole range of things from math, physics, and programming to speaking Vietnamese and English.
I'd like to learn about your country's culture, history, language, and cuisine.
I can also share my knowledge of Vancouver. Like the places to see and eat as well as the things you can do.
What I Can Share with Hosts
Among the things I've already mentioned... I can also share with you stories and experiences of the coolest things I've ever done.
