Overview
About Me
I'm a laid back thrill seeker! Trying to see the world from as many perspectives as possible.
I studied Cognitive Systems at UBC and have since been working in the psychedelic space for a few years now. I worked for MAPS Canada for 3 years and have since left to focus all my energy into my own business The Flying Sage. I really enjoy running, hiking, swimming and playing guitar!
I lived in Birmingham, England for the first eight years of my life and have since been living in Vancouver, BC, Canada.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I used Couchsurfing a lot when I was backpacking through Europe a couple years back and I wanted to get the most value out of my trip. I felt that staying with people kind enough to offer strangers a place in their home is not only cheap, but more importantly, an awesome way to absorb culture, meet long lasting friends and share life stories.
I think Couchsurfing is such a neat platform and I would like to be part of the community of people who are making travelling even more rewarding!
I believe novel experience is the spice of life and in many ways Couchsurfing embodies that!
Interests
I am very passionate about music and listen to almost every genre. I am really interested in the body but I am even more interested in the mind. I love exploring my own psychology and am heavily invested in self-actualization; whatever that means. I volunteered as an RA at a Cognitive Neuroscience Lab at UBC. I am really into psychedelics if it was not already obvious. I am into cold plunging, breathwork, cliff-jumping, motorcycles and living life to the fullest!
I love being in nature and people watching. I enjoy running, swimming and biking to stay in shape.
I read mostly non-fiction at the moment. I am a big fan of books that dig into our psychology.
