Overview
About Me
Hi! My name's Michael. I have two degrees in Computer Science and Character Animation. Before turning to the dark side and becoming a programmer in San Francisco, I did fun stuff like work for Disney as an animator one summer, and walked the Camino de Santiago a few summers after that. Things I love: sharing a good beer with a stranger/soon to be friend, learning about a new culture, playing music (guitar/piano), late night philosophical conversations, wandering around a city and taking photos, staying in on a Friday night and watching a good film with people I love. I’m a life long learner, and I love traveling because it expands my understanding of the possible lives one can live on this planet.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Traveling is no fun if you feel like a tourist. I love meeting passionate people, and learning about what people care about, and why.

Teach, Learn, Share
I can teach you about drawing, animating, programming, or playing guitar. I want to learn how to cook some local food and say some words in your language. I'd like to share a beer and some good conversation, maybe a local concert.
