About Me

Hey there! I'm a musician that has a hankering for traveling. I've seen a lot of the world but I'm also aware of all the finer details that might have slipped under my nose.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I want to explore the lives of those who I've never met before but share the same plane of existence as me. We can't be that much different and I'd like to break the barrier of reservation and reclusion that I always seem to get myself into. Let's get out together and find adventures waiting and continuously occurring.

Music, Movies, and Books

Currently at work in a band of equal parts melodic, heavy, dissonant, consonant, catchy, confusing, and fun! My band Psilocybe reflects most of my musical tastes, ranging from metal, punk, pop, rnb, ska, reggae, fusion, hardcore, Latin, atmospheric, blues, hip hop...there's basically not much I wouldn't listen as long as it expresses some real emotions and feeling!

Haven't kept up with movies in recent times as much as I should have, but if this counts I have an affinity for science fiction or psychological films, anything disturbing or dystopian is usually something I can get into. Stanley Kubrick, Michael Haneke are two directors I'm fond of. I'm also currently watching Twin Peaks, a strange murder series that constantly dives from the ethereal supernatural world to the brutal cold reality of the material world, while finding tasteful moments in between to fill with quirky humor and amazing monologues.

Haven't read much novels in my day, but I've recently gotten into comic books. I've read The Incal, Promethea, and I'm currently reading Uzumaki 🌪🌀

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Organized a benefit show to support refugees and immigrants seeking asylum in America 🙂 Search up "Lines On a Map: Benefit Show for First Friends of NJ and NY"

Teach, Learn, Share

I can most certainly teach the basics of guitar playing, I've been actively pursuing a degree in music therapy with a concentration in classical guitar. I'm also open to learning any skill that requires me to be hands on and create something. And I can cook to a certain degree of tolerance, just not meat because I'm a vegetarian. 🐒🍌

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can cook and appreciate sharing in the efforts of making a meal with my hosts. After words we can share music and experiences that can inspire us.
