About Me
Hey Community,
I am always looking to gain some new experiences and for people to meet up with. So here's a short introduction for you to get a better picture of me.
I've grown up in a small village in Bavaria, South of Germany relatively close to the mountains. Being surrounded by nature techead me to appreciate the riches nature has to offer and that it is incredibly important to preserve our environment.
That's why my professional commitment is fully towards fighting climate change and fostering an sustainable development. Within my bachelor's degree of renewable energies I had the chance to live and work in India for 7 months and even to host some people there.
Being outside, in the mountains and the nature is what I really enjoy. Hiking with friends, cycling or having a good run every once in a while is what I can't live without. Apart from that, I love to dance (especially electronic music/indie rock) and to cook for friends and family. Photography and painting are one of my biggest hobbies since they help me to perceive my sourroundings much more conciously, always open for new perspectives and sights.
Anything else that is to say about me is easiest to find out in person while having a drink and a good conversation.
See you soon and best regards,
Michael
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I got into couch surfing while living in a shared flat in India in 2017. My former flatmate was continuously hosting people and he sort of introduced me to the community. Once we had 7 people from 4 countries staying at our place. I had great fun hosting all the people with him during my time in India and I can happily say that some of our guests remain friends to this day.

Teach, Learn, Share
Taking conscious decisions is the only thing that keeps you moving one step forward. A decision might turn out out bad, but if you took it consciously you can always look back knowing that to that point in time with your current state of mind you could not have decided otherwise.
Never forget that personality is not fixed, it's a never ending process. Do not regret taking decisions.
