Well where to start, I have 11 brothers and sisters I am the middle child, lived all my life in Fairbanks Alaska which is a beautiful city and the summers are some the best I have ever seen. I have been working road construction most of my adult life, and managed a second hand consignment store for 4 years. Ive always wanted to travel and I have finally been given the means and the time to travel. I want to experience the world and all it has to offer along with all the amazing people along the way. I am just wanting a little adventure in my life.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am couch surfing for two main reasons, one I am traveling a lot by my self this year and want to meet new people and who better to help show me the sites then a local. Second reason is I am working on a budget, I am not going to lie money is another issue. But do not get me wrong, I am not a cheap person nor am I some one who takes advantage of someone’s hospitality. But mainly I just want to see the world and meet new people along the way and hopefully be able to share my home with them if they ever decide to come to Alaska.

Interests

My interests vary, I was once a pretty decent ball room dancer but its been a two years since I have been able to practice but I still love it and every time a good song comes on I just want to grab the nearest girl and spin her around the floor but I restrain myself most the time. I love out doors; rock climbing and hiking are probably my two favorite activities outside. In all actuality I am pretty much down to do anything outside on nice days, does not take much convincing to make me go outside. I also enjoy just relaxing and watching movies and eating popcorn.

I could go on and on about things I enjoy doing and that interest me, but to sum it up I enjoy pretty much everything as long as i am with good people.

Music, Movies, and Books

I don’t know if I have a favorite music but I enjoy listening to anything that has a good beat and doesn’t hurt my ears. Movies I could go on for a while about good movies and favorites mainly because each genre has its on favorite and then there are times that I just cant pick a favorite because I cant compare and choose one properly. I can give a list of movies I’ve watched over 5 times, that’s much easier. Gladiator, Star Dust, 300, 10 things I hate about you and the proposal. As you can see I am open to watching anything, I enjoy the action movies as well as a good chick flick. Now books ill be honest here and say one of the book series I truly enjoyed the most was the Eragon The Inheritance cycle, just over all a great book and I think I liked it the most because I was able to live it as I was reading it. One book I believe everyone should read is Catch Me if You Can, that book is just jar dropping with the things he does and is able to get away with, if you want to be in a awe of someone try that book out.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

A friend and I put together a relief fund for Kathmandu Nepal after the earthquake, and brought 100 sawyer pointone water filters to the villages and people of Nepal to give them clean drinking water to help prevent sickness. It was something ill never forget, along with all the people who I met that have changed me forever.

Teach, Learn, Share

All I have to teach are things I have picked up over the years, so just asked. As for learning I am sponge if you have something to teach ill learn it gladly. I am not sure what there is to share besides my experiences and candy.
