Overview
About Me
I am a graduate student at Tulane University in New Orleans where I study classical piano. I don't feel I will ever be finished with school, and I wouldn't have it any other! I have a voracious appetite for learning new things and gaining as many varied experiences I can. I spend most of my time locked in a small practice room with a piano pulling my hair out over the intricacies of the great composers, but when I'm not doing that, I spend time reading and writing, looking at art, listening to music, running (one day I'll run a marathon - maybe not soon- but one day), thinking about life's big questions and also its trivial ones. I've recently moved and have enjoyed exploring New Orleans and meeting the people there. I've was born in Mississippi, and have lived in Washington D.C. area, and Chicago and now Back to the south.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I am beginning a phase in my life where I will be traveling more and more. Seeing the sights and sounds of a new place are wonderful, but meeting the people who live there seems just as valuable. I feel that travel is one of the greatest forms of education, second only to human interaction.
