Current job: Marine ecologist/researcher, I study scallops and plankton and the role habitat can play in biodiversity and resilience!
Current life-goal: Swim in the ocean at least once every month. Just did November, December swim to happen soon!

Like many of you, I think travel is a lot more meaningful and fun when you get to meet people in the places you travel. Also let's be real, travel is more fun when it doesn't break the bank.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I ran my first marathon this past November and it surprised me how mentally engaging it was, and how deeply the experience dug into my spirit. Once you cross the finish line you feel like a scooped-out avocado, in a really good way. Most surprising and amazing experience of this past year for sure.
