I'm a grad student from the UK recently moved from London to NYC for another step in my journey of increasingly obscure liberal arts degrees. I have an unhealthy obsession with collecting records from a wide and global variety of genres, and I'm occasionally allowed to play them loud in clubs.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm hoping to do as much travelling as I can while I can during my year and a half in the US, within the means of my very limited student budget. I'm also far more interested in getting to see a local perspective on the places I visit, rather than one filtered through the lens of tourism and advertising, and I'm excited to meet and learn from a variety of people and cultures.

I have a huge amount to say about music of almost any variety and as a record collector and occasional DJ I live to share what I know. I'm also always keen to talk about literature and politics.
