About Me

MEDAT IMPORTANT

Since I had the same problem when I did it I offer my place for many people who do the medat in Vienna. I don't know how many you will be so consider, especially in the morning, problems with bathroom etc. Also since my shower is in an area which you need to pass to get to a room this might be a problem with many people. I currently have 1-2 empty rooms for you to sleep. I live ~10min away from Gumpendorfer Straße U6.

CURRENT MISSION

Mission? Why didn't anybody tell me?

ABOUT ME

Hy,

well, short explanation for everything.
I am currently a student at a Vienna university.
Normally I'm kind a busy but depending on when you come I will try to show you around town, go out or find something else to do.
As said, what I can do will strongly depend on the time you come.

Usually people consider me, well as a little "crazy" but normally I just take it as a compliment. ^^

PHILOSOPHY

Life might be short, do as many great things as you can, while you can.

Live life like a chess player, always look for an opponent/task which seems a little too hard for you in order to improve.

Life has neither meaning nor reason, so just do whatever you like.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

How I see fits.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Have been couchsurfing mainly in Ireland yet, I met really great people this way. I also have been hitch hicking a lot and was often invited by really nice people to stay the night, amazing experiences!

Interests

Hiking into the middle of nowhere, hitch hicking (the best way to travel ever!), fishing (haven't done it for a long time, sadly) and of course partying with fun people.
I like learning or at least trying to. ^^

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I've been thinking quite a bit but I cann't pin down some single 'amazing things'.
Pretty much all the 'amazing things' I've experienced belong to a longer story, without which they aren't worth much.
Finally reaching a remote mountain top, watching the sun rise while wandering through the streets of a strange city with some new made friends, reaching a hut just moments before a blizard and staying there for 6 days, and many many more things have been amazing for me.

Teach, Learn, Share

Well, I can try to tell you how hitch hiking works in a few countries or ways how to travel 'cost-effective' (but since you are on this side you might already know that). Also I have some knowledge about ultracold atomphysics and quantumoptics, but not sure how helpful this is gonna be to you...

Countries I’ve Visited

Austria, Croatia, Czech Republic, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, India, Indonesia, Iran, Iraq, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Morocco, Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway, Oman, Philippines, Poland, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Turkey, United Arab Emirates, United Kingdom
