My name is Michael, I am a 24 year old and I currently live at home after graduating from University in May 2014. I was working a management level position when I realized that I wasn't ready to give up on what I love to be miserable working with an company that did not appreciate who I was or my work. I love food, cooking, and meeting new people. I am big into being with family and friends and am crazy about my Girlfriend that I left at home for my 5 week trip. I am a clean person and a great guest. I can talk about pretty much anything but I know when to shut up as well. I like to participate in sports, I like to run and hike and am always pushing myself to do new things and find the next adventure.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I enjoy adventuring and meeting new people, that is why I want to couch surf I find it to be the best way to meet people and get to really get to see the city and areas I will be exploring. There is nothing better than sharing a beer and food with friends learning about them and their culture. I find this to be the best way to see the true nature of the places I will be traveling. I have been through parts of Europe before but there was something missing from the hostel life.

Interests

I like to cook and eat, beer is always a great companion especially while traveling. I like to hike and bike. Movies are always great but I enjoy conversation and being active even more. I like to meet people and have friends all across the globe.

Music Indy rock to classic rock and old school rap. I like myself all comedy movies and action of course. But a Nightmare Before Christmas is my ultimate favorite.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Well I just got back from a trip white water rafting some class 5 Rapids and skydiving that goes up as some of the best things I have ever done. But some stories from behind he scenes bars in northern Norway also comes to mind.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can cook, clean, and bring some of my home to you. I keep myself neat and have 5 weeks of my travels in my 10 kg 40 L bag so I cannot make too much of a mess. I unfortunately do not have room in my pack for a sleeping bag but I have my own clean sheets and towel all of the other necessities. I can bring fun and willingness for just about anything to the table.
