About Me
Hello my name is Michael, I'm a medically retired Army veteran. I served under three presidents , and for 17 years I've traveled domestically, and abroad on official orders. Now I'm unofficial , and for the record my adventures haven't -don't- nor - won't stop due to my disabilities.
Last year I made a pact with myself to continue moving forward with my life, rather than accepting conditions which might render me complacent. In my day I have :
FLOWN as a young adult with the red birds , and the free birds , southeast to Appalachia, KY on a Methodist mission to help the impoverished.
GRADUATED from a premature gown to full dress greens overnight in Lawton, OK.
RODE within a steel dragon covered in armor across the Kuwait desert in 98.
PARTIED on Fat Tuesday with the sinners in New Orleans- floated down the bayou - and made it to 6AM formation.
ATE a jalapeño in Juarez, and drank tequila in Laredo Mexico .
CLIFF JUMPED into Lake Whitney , and found myself looking into the eyes of a nurse shark in the Caribbean.
SNOWBOARDED for the first time on the German Alps - enjoyed the Bavarian Garmisch sunset in a concussive state along the mountain's summit.
CANTERED bareback on a quarter horse on a Pennsylvania night through a field of fireflies - canned from my garden and lived self sufficient.
on a horse farm.
ZIP-LINED alongside towing Hemlock trees, and posed nude for a drawling class in a downtown Charleston, WV coffee shop.
DANCED in full regalia at military balls , practiced medicine , studied business , and enjoyed the ticky tacky box lifestyle .
GAVE AWAY everything in 16 - said goodbye to materialistic possession, moved to Jamaica , smoked a joint with a Rastafarian on Matches in Western Kingston, and kicked a sea urchin.
AND - last summer... I met a chief whom accompanied me around Lake Erie on a bicycle - the journey was 600 miles , and lasted 6 days.
This spring - I'm ready to travel across the US on a cycle.

Music, Movies, and Books
I love music served on vinyl. As far as movies , I don't have a favorite , instead I'm too busy making my own. Books , where do I start ... Arthur Rimbaud , Jack Kerouac - On The Road , Lincoln , Meme Wars , On The Wings of Peace , and any of Dr. Seuss's books are considered favorites. And , recently I've been on a jazz/blues vinyl binge - Howlin Wolf - " Moaning in the Moonlight " is my newest record.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I broke an elderly woman's ribs while resuscitating her back to life via CPR chest compressions in a rural hospital - with hands clasped , and pressed , I felt her heart begin to beat again.
Teach, Learn, Share
I can teach origami - love to learn - and I believe the motto " sharing is caring ". Transferable knowledge is power.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I can share laughs , stories , and I'll enjoy doing dishes , cleaning, cooking ,and most odd chores for stay- I'm pretty handy too.
