I grew up in Germany and live in Switzerland meanwhile where I came as a student. I like learning languages and getting to know other cultures which is why during my studied I joined AIESEC and I did an Erasmus-year to Spain. Currently I am writing my phd-thesis in the lovely little town of Fribourg in Switzerland. After living in different countries i'm quite adaptive to different cultures, also I think im rather a calm person, at least thats what my friends tell me...

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I would like to avoid a standard tourist holidays, like going to bars where all the tourists go, taking the same panoramic photo that all the tourists take and so on. In the best case I can find locals that give me a much deeper impression of their culture. I like cooking or maybe my couch surfing partner has even the time to show me some secret spots of his town:)
