Hello, my wife and I quit our jobs in July 2018. Then we started travelling. We've hitchhiked over Balkan area to Turkey. Then along the Black Sea to Caucasus area (Georgia and Armenia) followed by Iran. Here we took a flight to Sri Lanka. A month later we started our trip in Chennai, India. We travelled along the east coast up to Kalkutta and then to Varanasi (all by bus and train). Then we crossed borders to Nepal where we enjoyed Himalayan mountain life. It followed a month of beach time in Thailand/Koh Chang and three months of van life travelling the east coast of Australia. Unfortunately we had tp return home. In Germany we reconsidered our travelling style (too much air travel.. too much spilled gasoline in Oz..). And now, soon, we will start a cycling tour for another year.

My wife is interested in making music (saxophone and guitar), painting and writing.

My interests lie in travelling, books, juggling and gardening. Back home I like to do mountain biking quite regularly.

We both love animals.. There's a lovely dog waiting for us out there.. And we wil find him/her..

We both like music and art festivals. Also we are both into meditation and into let's say kind of yogic excercices (we do certain body excervices very regularly.. but in our own style..).

Wanna join a Rainbow Gathering at least once..

We eat mainly vegetarian. We try to eat local and avoid unnecessairy packaging/plastics.

Educational wise: Franzi, my wife, is a teacher and I am a Software Developer (field of engineering).

Music, Movies, and Books

I watched a lot of movies when I was younger. Fantasy, Sci Fi, Action, Horror. Nowadays less entertainment stuff and more informative stuff. Still like to go watch a good movie from time to time. I am just less enthuasiastic about it then when I was younger.

I like to read biographies. Moslty about people living more alternative lifes. Also I like to read popular scientific stuff like the books from like Brian Green or Steven Hawking. Things where I get a basic knowledge of something without having to dig much deeper (which would require studying the field for years..).

I like all kinds of music, nothing in particular. Classic rock music and Psychedelic Trance if I had to name some. But I am not much enthuasiastic about everything concerning music. Just love to listen to.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

While studying and doing my first internship in a company I got a very good connection with the head of another departement. He gave me the motivation I needed to finish my studies successfully. Before I was a bit lazy when it came to learning.
