INTRO
I am an Aussie who grew up mostly in Melbourne, Australia, though I spent a few years living in Shanghai in my childhood. I love music, conversations about life and happiness, giving in to my spontaneous streak, taking every opportunity to be stupid/random, meeting new people and sharing stories, growing, doing new things and travelling (clearly).

Personality-wise, I think I'm fairly easy going, friendly spontaneous, relaxed, curious, dependable and determined, but of course what better way is there than to meet and I'll let you be the judge.

I love the concept of hosting others from across the globe and sharing a little piece of your life or journey as a local. It attracts generous and curious people, and I'd like to be a part of that!

I hope I can share something with you, be it a fresh experience together, a funny story, a new skill, a different perspective or at the very least a dad joke or two.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

Not sure if amazing, but these three are certainly unique:
- I visited the magnificent Angkor Wat and surrounding temples in Cambodia on a tandem bicycle (and we had our food stolen by monkeys...)
- My car broke down in the middle of the Australian desert while travelling with friends, and we had to hitchhike back to civilisation
- I ran naked around Harvard Yard with hundreds of undergrads while it was snowing during my year studying there

I work at a tech startup, so always happy to chat about startups, building a business or ideas.
Musically, I can teach you to play guitar, clarinet / saxophone, piano or didgeridoo.
Languages I can practise with you are English and Chinese, and I can teach you to speak with an Australian accent.
I only know a few recipes, and would be interested in sharing cooking tips.
