Why I’m on Couchsurfing

To meet locals, exchange stories and make memories while traveling. Hopefully I will have my own apartment soon and will be able to host travelers in San Francisco.

Interests

Hiking, photography, cycling, reading classic novels and nonfiction about the Middle East, playing chess, drinking craft beer, watching tv, traveling, and following politics, international relations the San Francisco Giants.

Music: a mix of classic rock, EDM, indie and jazz.
Movies: Good Will Hunting, Lord of the Rings, Harry Potters, Pulp Fiction,....
Books: Catch-22, Lolita, Blindness, Slaughterhouse 5, the Missing Peace, and of course, Harry Potter.
TV: West Wing, Sherlock, House of Cards, Breaking Bad, Dexter, Parks and Rec, Community, and the list goes on.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I think some of most amazing things I have seen are out in nature: the view from the bottom of the Grand Canyon or the top of the Swiss Alps, and the expression on people's faces when they encounter something so amazing and awe inspiring.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach the alphabet pretty well, but if you can read this, you probably don't need my help. I am pretty knowledgeable about the Middle East, especially Israel, politics, and other random things. But hopefully I can teach and learn in while meeting new people and having new experiences through the couchsurfing community.
