We moved from Iowa to Colorado about four years ago. We are very happy with the move.

I like people. Traveling while meeting people is the best way to go. We love having guests too.

Por qué estoy en Couchsurfing

Because there is no better way to travel then to meet with local people. The other benefit of couch surfing is to meet people traveling to my own community.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I joined January, 2012. I have done similar surfing with Servas, which was like CS but pre-IT. With Servas we visited homes in several countries in Europe. My wife and I have had guests from Algeria, Turkey, France and Italy.
In 2014 I stayed with hosts in southern Louisiana.

In recent years finding hosts with CS has been tricky due to out-dated host information. We love being hosts and will go back to that when the Covid Virus issue subsides.

Intereses

Traveling, gardening, fixing things, studying other cultures, bicycling, hanging out with interesting people, cooking and living simply.

Everyplace I've been. Everywhere and everybody helps me learn.
Skiing over a complete landscape of snow, in the dark, above the tree-line in Norway.
