ABOUT ME

Fun-seeking, social traveler who enjoys meeting new people from new places. I am currently living in Raleigh, North Carolina as an Urban Designer!

After study abroad for a semester in Prague, CZ, I graduated from North Carolina State University with a degree in Landscape Architecture, and moved to Germany 3 days later to become an au pair. I love traveling, especially around Europe, and the au pair job gives me the freedom and money to do so! I am still interested in pursuing urban design, and have been learning a lot by experiencing all the great, unique design concepts in Europe, but for now, I'm just living it up here in Europe!

When I travel, I generally like to tour the area by day and party by night! I'm extremely flexible, always up for a fun time, and will sleep anywhere (so don't feel bad if you can't offer me a couch, floorspace is enough)! I can tell some stories of my own, but I also like to listen to. Most of my travels have been inspired by the travels of others, and I feel that by hearing about something first hand is the best way to learn.

PHILOSOPHY

I guess you could say a more sophisticated version of Yolo,but I really take the fact that you only live once to heart.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I've surf and host! I have met up with various couch surfers around Europe as well as attended local meetings and events organized through CS. I love checking out all the CS events going on in my city, and also ones that I am visiting.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have attended various CS meet ups as well as surfed and met other CSers in Iceland, Turkey, Latvia, and many more cities around Europe! They were all amazing experiences, and now that I'm back in the US with a house of my own, I'd like to give back to CS and host myself!

Interests

Touring by day, partying by night is how I like to travel! I can talk about anything and am very flexible. I would love to see the city from your point of view as I really enjoy and respect a local's opinion on their home.

Other interests include photography, hiking, snowboarding, urban design, fitness, travel (of course), and public transportation.
