CURRENT MISSION
Always have a good story at the end
ABOUT ME
I am a physics student at UC Berkeley. Don't know what I'm going to do with physics when I'm out of school, but *hopefully* I can find something that sparks my interest.
I once got a fortune cookie that said: "If you had your life to live over again, you'd need more money."
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
After having some great experiences couchsurfing in Europe, I've returned to the states to host for the summer!
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Couchsurfed several times while traveling around Europe this summer. Each place I surfed at was waaaaaay better than a hostel. It's not just about the cost or the cleanliness...my favorite part was that I got to meet locals and find out about the culture of the city I was in, rather than just meeting yet more backpackers like myself.
Interests
Road biking, hiking, backpacking, soccer, playing guitar, checking Facebook obsessively, board games, physics, discovering new music, adventuring to new lands and far off places.

Music, Movies, and Books
Movies: 1. Star Wars
2. Movies that make me laugh (Airplane!, The Hangover, Monty Python and the Holy Grail, Juno, Office Space, Rocket Science, Harold and Kumar, The Anchorman)
3. Movies that will never get old, no matter how many times you see them (Toy Story 3, Donnie Darko, Fight Club, Pulp Fiction, Inception, Mulan).
Music: I'm a blues fan at heart, so I like a mix of hard rock and folk rock. The White Stripes, Bob Dylan, Pink Floyd, Led Zeppelin, Flight of the Conchords, Wolfmother, Simon & Garfunkel, Jet, The Black Keys, Jethro Tull, Dead Meadow, Cream, The Beatles
Books: America (The Book) by Jon Stewart, The Gospel of the Flying Spaghetti Monster by Bobby Henderson, Harry Potter
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Went on a two week backpacking trip in New Mexico. Along the way I summited a mountain, hiked in the middle of a thunderstorm, learned how to climb a telephone pole, sang every song I knew the lyrics to, and made lifelong friends.
Teach, Learn, Share
I have experience tutoring high school math and physics (and intro college physics). Depending on what you want to know, I can probably tell you a lot about physics or astrophysics, since that's my area of study.
In 20 minutes, I can teach you two easy (but fun!) songs on the guitar that you can impress your friends with.
If you have the patience, I can help you learn how to juggle.
Countries I’ve Visited
