Overview
About Me
After working an outdoor environmental education program for seven years, I've spent the last couple exploring what else the world has to offer. Currently, I cook.
I love meeting new people.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I've been on the receiving end of an overwhelming amount of hospitality and kindness over the years and I would love to pay it forward.
Hotels make enough money.
Interests
I read a lot and am always down to recommend a book. There's also a chance I'd just give you my copy of a book, on the condition that you find someone else to give it to when you're done. Books aren't really meant to sit on shelves not being read.

Music, Movies, and Books
"Good tunes is good tunes." - Detroit Rock City
My standards for movies aren't that high and I see a lot of them. I don't generally do well with picking favorites but Hook certainly has to be up there.
I think everyone should read Quiet: The Power of Introverts in a World That Can't Stop Talking, by Susan Cain.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Recently, I sliced my left thumb real bad and got 6 stitches and it bled like bleeding was going out of style.
Teach, Learn, Share
I love teaching and learning. I have a guitar and would love to teach or be taught guitar things. I also certainly have some cooking knowledge to share, and welcome recipe ideas.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I cook, I clean, and I'm good with kids!
