Have a very active and creative summer! I'm currently learning French in Trois Rivière and working as a journalist in Lac La Biche, AB.

ABOUT ME

I am a 24 year old living in Victoria B.C. Attending university in the department of English Literature. I used to work at a used book store downtown, a staple of Victoria, and now I work at a climbing gym on the university campus.

If it's not fun don't do it. Seriously, time's precious. Don't even bother.

Por qué estoy en Couchsurfing

I'm on Couchsurfing because I love meeting new people. I'm incredibly social and love stumbling into new and surprising situations.
On top of this, I believe in the passing on of second hand goods and sharing spaces when you can. We're all living together on this crazy space rock and we can share the space if we all care. Ultimately, the most important part of life is interaction and the connections we make with others.
I love hitchhiking, dumpster diving, clothing swaps, all things where you can give what you don't need to someone who will use it!

Intereses

I'm an avid Beatles fan, I believe that their music and personalities have had a huge effect on my personality and philosophy. I've always been very active, climbing, hiking, dancing etc. I am obsessed with reading and this summer I want to work seriously on my prose. My girlfriend and I are working on writing prompts with each other.

I have traveled Canada from coast to coast with my family. I have seen The Grand Canyon in Arizona and the Bay of Fundy in Nova Scotia. I have seen the Alhambra in Granada, Spain, and the Green Vault in the heart of Dresden, Germany. I stumbled onto a cheap cruise ship through the west coast fjords of Norway while hitchhiking from Oslo to Trondheim via Bergen.

I can share an exuberance for life! I'm very enthusiastic and generally excited and prepared for spontaneous situations! I also used to work in a used book store and take literature pretty seriously. I would love to exchange books and even start a Book Mailing Buddy if someone is really keen.
