About Me
ABOUT ME
I am a student. I grew up in California, but was born in Texas. I spent 9.5 years living in different Hare Krishna monasteries before deciding to study finance. After finishing my first degree in finance, I switched to economics. I am working on a project wherein I explain the philosophy of religion with the tools of economics. Religious philosophy has a lot of economic applications that are independent of faith; so they are relevant for atheists, agnostics, and theists.
I have recently applied or sent proposals to a number of universities in Europe and abroad, as I am actively seeking a position where I can continue my research.
I like to read (philosophy, religion, Harry Potter, Lord of the Rings), listen to music (Classic Rock n Roll, Regina Spektor, Bob Marley, The Beatles, Hare Krishna Kirtan), sing (what I have been listening to), discuss (I try to avoid speculation and stick to experiences, emotions, and other topics that need/ deserve to be worked through or shared) , watch movies (I do not like scary movies), and cook for other people (mostly Vegan sometimes Vegetarian). I am a non-smoker, vegan, a-sexual and am pretty chill.
I am hetero-sexual and non-discriminatory.
I love the Ocean :-)
... and I am also a researcher: https://www.researchgate.net/profile/John-Perdue-2/research
