ABOUT ME

I'm a native Floridian, but currently live and study in Great Neck, a town 20 miles outside of Manhattan. I love being out on the water and have strong aspirations of living and working in Alaska, particularly Juneau, on their state-wide ferry system.
I spend the majority of my time reading and exploring new areas. Backpacking, hiking, and camping are by far my favorite hobbies. I look forward to meet new people and have wondeful experiences while using couchsurfing!

PHILOSOPHY

Go into life with an open mind and be like a sponge, absorb all you can. Life is like a book, there are different chapters, and it will be great one day to look back on all that you have experienced.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Spent four months on a container ship carrying goods between Los Angeles, Honolulu, Guam, and China.
Spent a month interning on a tug boat in Puget Sound, Washington and a month on the Alaskan Ferry system bringing people from the lower 48 to Alaska.
Spent four months on an Alaska tanker shuttling crude oil from the pipeline in Valdez, Alaska down to Los Angeles and back.
Spent three months on a tuna fishing boat cruising the Samoan islands and the rest of the South Pacific.
